    If your barrel threads are longer than .4", it is a good practice to add the spacers needed to get your barrel threads .4" long.

Description

If you own one of the cool old Silencerco Micro Osprey suppressors, you know that SiCo discontinued it a while ago and the barrel fittings are seldom made.I got frustrated with that and made a run of them myself and they are pretty dang nice.

My replacement adapter is made from black oxide coated 1018 steel and comes with a complete set of shims. The shims are made of carbon steel so while there is a freckling of oxidation on them they will work as intended and without issue.
